1.DERMALPANING

​

During the procedure, your face is cleanse and prepared with a gentle cleanser, removing any makeup and dirt. Using a sterilized blade, your esthetician will smoothly guide the blade across your face at an angle while holding the skin taught. If you are worried that shaving the hair on your face will cause it to grow back thicker, there is no cause for concern. The type of hair being removed is known as vellus hair. When removed, it should not grow back darker or courser after treatment. We do, however, recommend additional treatments every three to four weeks to help you maintain your results.

After the dermalpaning an exfoliating enzyme mask is applied. The enzyme mask is made from fruit enzymes. It both nourishes and sloughs off dead skin cells, creating the perfect pH balance for your skin. It also fights free radical damage, which causes premature aging, by removing the top layer of skin and exposing newer skin.

2.EXTRACTIONS

Once the mask is removed the extraction process begins.

Extractions are Great for Removing Blackheads

Blackheads are small black dots that appear on the skin formed from clogged pores getting exposed to air. These small blackheads are comedones and are formed when oil and dead skin cells get trapped in your hair follicles. Hard to remove and not recommended to try at home, blackheads can easily be cleared through extractions by unclogging pores.

3.HIGH FREQUENCY

 

After your face has been fully extracted a toner is applied and prepared for the high frequency procedure.

 

The high frequency facial is a skin care treatment used by professionals to help treat and prevent stubborn acne, shrink enlarged pores, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, decongest puffy eyes, fade dark eye circles, rejuvenate the condition of the scalp and nourish hair follicles for healthier hair growth. Considered a timeless and essential skin rejuvenating treatment by those in the skin care industry, high frequency has been shown to stimulate cell renewal and improve skin care product penetration and absorption by gently warming the tissues of the skin. The safe, gentle oscillating and oxygenating power of high frequency electrical current has been shown to enhance blood circulation, increase collagen and elastin production, eliminate toxins and acne-causing bacteria, encourage lymphatic drainage, exfoliate dead skin cells and improve skin care product absorption. The primary action of high frequency current is thermal (heat producing) and is characterized by a high rate of oscillation. Once the High Frequency procedure is complete a serum and sheet mask is applied to help soothe and nourish the skin. Finally the sheet mask is removed and the facial is complete.
